A new concept restaurant is opening at Disney Springs next year according to the Orlando Sentinel. The Polite Pig restaurant will be opening Spring 2017 by The Ravenous Pig owners James and Julie Petrakis. The Petrakis are James Beard award nominees and their The Ravenous Pig restaurant has had huge success in Winter Park.
The new restaurant will feature menu of wood-fired smoked and grilled items and also serve beer brewed at Cask & Larder in Winter Park, as well as wine and cocktails.
“As a locally-based restaurant group, it’s great to bring our new concept to Disney Springs where we’ll have the opportunity to showcase genuine Florida cuisine for guests from around the world,” James Petrakis said. “With so many talented chefs opening new restaurants at Disney Springs, we’re really excited to be part of a group helping Orlando distinguish itself as a world-class culinary destination.”
The Polite Pig will be located in the Town Center neighborhood. The 5,000-square-foot venue will be open daily, with seating for about 200 guests.
