The 2011 Epcot International Food and Wine Festival kicks off at Walt Disney World on September 30, offering 45 days of cuisine, culture and entertainment from six continents, with more than 25 international marketplaces featuring tapas-sized portions of food paired with beer, wine and other cocktails.
In its 16th year, the festival will bring back many fan favorites from years past as well as offering a few new dishes, such as Kalua pork sliders from Hawaii and jerk-spiced chicken with mango salsa from the Caribbean. While eating and drinking around the World Showcase is a blast, the event only lasts through Nov. 13 – but the cravings don’t end there. So for the would-be chefs out there inspired by the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, Disney has released a series of 7 instructional videos, showing how to make some of the event’s most popular foods along with a flavorful drink.
