With less than eight months until Halloween Horror Nights 2013 debuts, Universal Studios has offered a “behind the screams” look at the making-of their 2012 TV commercial for the 22nd year of the popular annual event.

The video shows off the makeup, costuming, camerawork, and other technical achievements required to create the spot, along with a few amusing moments involving crazy creatures eating, drinking, and generally lounging around.
