We have an exciting opportunity in Orlando, Florida for an experienced, creative, and aggressive Multimedia Journalist. Your responsibilities will include story idea creation, written reporting, shooting and editing video news stories, developing contacts, as well as other responsibilities as assigned.
We are searching for a great story teller who brings energy, creativity, and intelligence to every report and news story.
Interested candidates should be a self-starter, have sharp news judgment, and be a creative journalist. You must also be able to work under deadline pressure. The right candidate will actively and effectively be able to use social media with an appropriate tone and voice. The ability to focus and work well with others is vital.
Must reside in or close to Orlando, Florida.
Must have reliable transportation (your own vehicle).
Must have experience reporting, news writing, and/or blogging for a major web site.
Must possess familiarity with shooting and editing video.
Must have social media prowess.
Must have thorough knowledge of theme parks and the theme park industry.
Comfort appearing on-camera is desired.
Owning camera equipment is a plus.

Videographer / Editor
We are looking for passionate Videographers / Editors in multiple locations who love being behind the camera and want to have fun while experiencing the excitement of the entertainment industry.
This is a freelance position, so we will call on you for assignments on an as-needed basis, often scheduled in advance but occasionally without advance notice. We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule who can answer a phone call, e-mail, or text message quickly and be out the door and on the scene quickly and efficiently.
This is a great opportunity for a talented videographer who is looking to pick up some extra paid gigs on a semi-regular basis.
Potential freelancers must reside in either Orlando, Florida or New York, New York.
As videographer, you will work solo as well as on a team in both production and post-production to shoot, edit, upload, and share the latest theme park happenings in Orlando, Florida.
Applicant must be versatile and understand the production process with a technical understanding of camera operation, lighting, audio capture, as well as editing. Basic color correction is sometimes required.
You must be organized and able to with a production team while also being independent and a self-starter when tasked with projects. Must maintain calm under pressure and able to troubleshoot equipment and location obstacles as they arise.
You must be detailed oriented, able to take direction, and interested in contributing new ideas.
Your formal training is insignificant as long as you can demonstrate an expertise in storytelling with video shooting and/or editing.
Additional skills in photography and graphic design preferred. An understanding of compression, codecs and output procedures is desired.
We can provide camera equipment, but it’s a plus if you have your own you are comfortable with. You must also have your own hardware with editing software you are familiar with (Premiere, Final Cut, etc.).
