Walt Disney Birthplace Moves Into Phase Two of Restoration, Continues to Raise Money

The Walt Disney Birthplace is continuing the restoration of Walt’s childhood home, now moving into the second phase of the project, asking for more crowdfunding.

Their campaign has already raised over $20,000 but needs to reach $40,000 to complete Phase Two.

This second phase of the restoration process focuses on exterior beautification of the property, transforming the house with a restored front porch, white picket fence, rose gardens, trees, benches, and recreations of the original doors on the home. Victorian restoration windows will be installed and along with tribute Paver Stones for those who have donated already.

Front doors are now being manufactured and are sponsored by Garner Holt Productions, creators of theme park animatronics.
