Turn of the century musical stylings will collide with modern pop hits next week at Walt Disney World and Disneyland as the Dapper Dans will begin to sing boy bands, part of Disney’s Limited Time Magic promotion. Backstreet Boys, ‘N Sync, and One Direction are among the popular artists that will be covered by Disney’s “original boy band,” the Main Street a capella singing Dapper Dans.

In December, Walt Disney World offered a preview of how this act would look and, more importantly, sound, might to the delight of those within earshot. It’s a bizarre concept that somehow works, in a “Weird” Al kind of way.

The Dapper Dans will belt out the boy band songs for a week, performing daily through March 3rd at the Magic Kingdom in Orlando and Disneyland park in Anaheim.
