Fans of some of Orlando’s top theme park attractions won’t want to miss the Entertainment Designer Forum being held at the Mad Cow Theatre in Downtown Orlando on Friday, April 23.
This special event will feature a panel of theme park design experts who will discuss designing theme parks and film sets, followed by a question-and-answer session and a silent auction for artwork and theme park collectibles.
Panelists include:
There will be two sessions: 6:30 p.m. and 9:00 p.m.
I’ll be attending the 9:00 p.m. session, so comment below to let me know if you’ll be there as well!
Tickets are just $25 and all proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society Relay for Life in honor of Stephanie Girard. You can order yours online or by calling 407-297-8788.
Auction items include exciting design pieces from Halloween Horror Nights past as well as attraction miniature paper models (by Ray Keim, whom we interviewed way back in Show 30 of the Inside the Magic podcast) and concept artwork:
Update (4/20/10): The silent auction begins at 6 p.m. and wraps up at 8:45 p.m., so anyone attending the 9 p.m. session wanting to bid should get there a bit early. It is a silent auction so all bidding will be done on paper.
