It’s been more than five years since we first saw Disney’s video game-inspired characters Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz unite on the big screen, but this year we’re finally getting a sequel. First officially announced in the summer of 2016, “Wreck-It Ralph 2” (now better known by its full title “Ralph Breaks the Internet”) is scheduled to crash its way into theaters this November.

Today on ABC’s morning news magazine show “Good Morning America,” Disney premiered the first full trailer for “Wreck-It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet,” in which Ralph (John C. Reilly) and Vanellope (Sarah Silverman) venture into the World Wide Web to track down a part for the latter’s broken arcade cabinet “Sugar Rush.”

In the trailer released today, Mr. Litwak (owner of the arcade Ralph and Vanellope call home) finally hooks up a WiFi connection, bringing the world of Litwak’s Arcade into the 21st century. Our heroes then venture forth on the information superhighway, encountering a wide variety of crazy characters, scads of meme-based humor, and their first experience with mobile gaming– as evidenced by that unlucky bunny and his stacks of pancakes.

“Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2” will be released on Wednesday, November 21st (just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday) in theaters nationwide. Be sure to read our interview with the movie’s directors Phil Johnston and Rich Moore to find out more!
