Recent visitors to the Happiest Place On Earth in Anaheim, California have noticed that the track for Main Street, USA‘s horse-drawn streetcar tracks have been obscured by construction walls for the past month or so.

Today Disneyland Resort revealed some first-look images at the completed work being done on the street surrounding those tracks, and the gorgeous-looking brickwork that has been put in place from Town Square all the way up to the park’s Hub in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland.

This renovations marks the very first time the track has been replaced in its entirety since Disneyland first opened nearly sixty-three years ago. According to Disneyland’s announcement, the original pieces of the track have been salvaged and preserved in the Disney archives.

Though construction still continues on certain parts of the track, the completed sections look fantastic, and are certainly making us anticipate our next visit to Walt Disney’s original Magic Kingdom at Disneyland!
