It’s been a tough week for Florida, with flooding and damage throughout the keys and up to Jacksonville in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, but the more central part of the state is in significantly better shape.

As a glimmer of hope toward the continued recovery process, it’s nice to hear that the major Orlando attractions will be reopening tomorrow morning, and that things can start getting back to normal in the tourism capital of the American southeast.

Today on the official Walt Disney World Twitter account, the resort confirmed that its four theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom) would resume operations Tuesday morning, with hours reflecting about what one would expect from a weekday during this time of year.

Meanwhile, over at Universal Orlando Resort’s official website, the destination’s management noted some minor damage caused by Irma’s wrath, including “fences, trees, signage and building facades,” but verified an on-time opening for both Universal Studios Hollywood and Islands of Adventure at 9:00 AM on Tuesday morning.

Universal also confirmed that this week’s scheduled launch of Halloween Horror Nights 2017 would go ahead as planned this Friday evening, September 15th.

Legoland Florida, however, was no so lucky, as the park experienced continued power outages into Monday afternoon. “We will reopen only when safe to do so,” said Legoland on its official Twitter account. SeaWorld Orlando will also remained closed on Tuesday for “additional debris clean-up.”
