Disney fans of a certain age have fond memories of returning home from school each afternoon and turning on the Disney Afternoon— a syndicated programming block consisting of two full hours of Disney TV series starring both original and already-famous characters, which spawned an entirely new generation of animation addicts.

The Popzilla Gallery’s “Afternoon Delight” art show, paying tribute to the shows featured on The Disney Afternoon (including “DuckTales,” “Goof Troop,” “Darkwing Duck,” “Gargoyles,” “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers,” and more) opened last week at Pop Comics in Downtown Anaheim, not far from the Disneyland Resort.

“Afternoon Delight” is wrapping up this week at Pop Comics, but fans can still stop by the store to check out the artwork and buy prints (and some original copies) of their favorites. Be sure to visit Popzilla’s Facebook page for more information.
