SDCC 2017 – 7 panels we’re excited for on Saturday and Sunday at San Diego Comic-Con

San Diego Comic-Con 2017 is almost here. The full schedule has now officially been completely announced and there is a lot to be excited about at this year’s convention.

Last week, we shared lists of panels that we’re excited for on the Thursday and Friday of San Diego Comic-Con. And now that the whole weekend has been revealed, we have our list for the remainder of the event.

Here are 7 panels we’re excited for on San Diego Comic-Con’s Saturday and Sunday:

1. ABC’s Once Upon a Time

As ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” enters its seventh season, the residents of the enchanted forest face their toughest challenges yet. Show creators and cast members come together to discuss whats in store for the returning favorites as a well as what can be expected from the new additions.

This panel will take place Saturday at 10 A.M. in Ballroom 20.

2. SpongeBob SquarePants: The Legend of Boo-kini Bottom

It was announced last month that SpongeBob would be getting the stop-motion treatment for a Halloween special this October. Producers and writers of the show will talk about the making of the special and share some behind-the-scenes footage as well.

Later, the voice actors of the iconic animated series will come together to do a live table read of a fan-picked classic halloween episode!

This panel will be held on Saturday at 11:15 A.M. in room 6A.

3. Warner Bros. Pictures Presentation

The studio that brings us Harry Potter and DC movies is set to provide a sneak peek at their highly anticipated upcoming releases. There is no information regarding who will be present or which films will be discussed, but some of the upcoming WB films include “Blade Runner 2049,” “Justice League,” and “Tomb Raider.”

This panel will be held on Saturday at 11:30 A.M. in Hall H.

4. Netflix’s Stranger Things

The cast and creators of the hit Netflix original series “Stranger Things” will discuss what they’ve been through and what’s still to come. Plus, guests will get to enjoy some never-before-seen footage of the upcoming second season before it premieres in October.

This panel will take place on Saturday at 3 P.M. in Hall H.

5. Marvel Studios

One of the biggest hits every year, Marvel Studios will take to the stage again to give fans a tease of what’s to come. Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, will be joined by “special guests” to shed some light on the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This panel will take place on Saturday at 5:30 P.M. in Hall H.

6. Fantastic Fans and Where to Find Them: Rowling Along in 2017

20 years after the release of “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” Harry Potter superfans unite to discuss the new canon from all sorts of different places including on stage, online and in amusement parks. The magic of Harry Potter has certainly spread from just the pages of J.K. Rowling’s classic novels.

This panel takes place Sunday at 2 P.M. in room 6BCF.

7. Hanna-Barbera 60th Anniversary

The legendary animation studio that brought us The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Johnny Quest, Scooby Doo and much more celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. Show creators come together with some “surprise guests” to discuss the making of the animated classics.

This panel will take place Sunday at 2 P.M. in room 7AB.
