The dining options at Disney’s Yacht Club resort are getting a major overhaul.
The Captain’s Grille restaurant adjacent to the Ale & Compass Lounge is joining the lounge area to become the Ale & Compass restaurant. The lobby lounge is being transformed with a new interior and expanded seating area and will have an updated menu with light bites and cocktails.
The menu for the new Ale & Compass restaurant hasn’t been finalized, but the eatery will have a gastropub ambience with New England comfort food. An on-stage hearth oven is the focal point of the new space. The casual, table-service restaurant will be open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and it’s on the Disney Dining Plan. Ale & Compass is set to open in October.
Another new addition is the airy Market at Ale & Compass with a small casual dining and merchandise area. Egg white wraps, spinach and feta pastry, and sticky buns are some of the options at the eatery, which offers made-to-order and grab ‘n go items.
Lunch and dinner options include veggie sandwiches with roasted broccoli and garlic, kale, almond, golden raisins and cheese on a whole-grain baguette, paninis, and ham and cheddar on a pretzel roll.
Coca-Cola, beer & wine, coffee, and smoothies are some of the beverages offered in the new dining area, which is set to open later this month.
Stay tuned for menu updates for the new Ale & Compass restaurant soon.
