“Despicable Me 3” promises to be just as popular as its predecessors in the popular film series, and Universal has wasted no time in bringing the characters from the film into its parks. Beginning yesterday, two new meet and greets were set up in Universal Studios Orlando.

WATCH:

The first meet and greet is set up near the Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction and focuses on those absolutely adorable minions. This time, though, their banana-yellow is a shade darker as you visit them in their Jail Minion Tattoo Parlor. You just might even walk away with your own temporary tattoo after it is all said and done.

Meet and Greet times for the Jail Minion Tattoo Parlor are:

  • 9:20 AM
  • 10:20 AM
  • 11:20 AM
  • 1:20 PM
  • 2:20 PM
  • 3:20 PM

The second meet is set up in the Kid Zone section of the park. Right in front of a stage near the ET attraction, many of the characters from “Despicable Me 3” come out to find their “Gru-ve” and take photos with guests. Minions of the tourist variety come bouncing out here, but the more notable addition to the crew is Gru’s brother, Dru. It’s a small family reunion that is sure to put a smile on your face.

Meet and Greet times for Gru, Dru and the Tourist Minions are:

  • 11:50 AM
  • 12:50 PM
  • 1:50 PM
  • 2:50 PM
  • 4:25 PM
  • 5:40 PM

“Despicable Me 3” merchandise has now begun to appear in a few of Universal Orlando’s gift shops. Universal Studios Store, Super Silly Stuff and the Trading Company all have a fun selection of items. The items include adult and kids apparel, journals, cups and plushes. Themes heavily lean toward the comical  Jail Minion, but there are also some very endearing products that emphasize the importance of family (no matter how odd it might be).

“Despicable Me 3” is slated to hit theaters June 30.
