Get ready to enter the world of My Neighbor Totoro with a new environmentally-friendly park from Studio Ghibli.

Ghibli Park is set to open inside Aichi’s Expo Port in the city of Nagoya and allows guests to explore nature throughout the year and changing seasons. Expo Port already houses recreations of ‘Totoro’ characters Satsuki and Mei’s homes, which debuted at the 2005 World’s Fair.

Hayao Miyazaki, who wrote and directed ‘My Neighbor Totoro,’ has said no trees will be cut down to make way for the park and it will have a limited impact on the environment.

Though the focus will be on ‘My Neighbor Totoro,’ Ghibli Park will also feature characters from other Studio Ghibli films, such as Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away.

There are no plans for attractions yet, so it sounds like more of a peaceful place for fans of anime to enjoy the world of Studio Ghibli.

The park is scheduled to open in early 2020.
