Disney fans have a chance to grab some pieces of the company’s history at the Heritage Animation Auction taking place next month in Dallas.

Vintage artwork from a number of classic Disney films is on sale, including one of the largest selections of art from Fantasia (1940). The highlight of the collection is Kay Nielson’s Night on Bald Mountain concept painting, seen below, which is expected to fetch at least $50,000.

A number of other pieces from Fantasia are being offered, including cels, animation drawings, concept art, and more.

Billed as one of the most important items Heritage has ever auctioned, Ken Anderson’s studies for the Haunted Mansion attraction, based on the Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, are also available.

In addition, the largest collection of hand-silkscreened park entrance posters is up for grabs. Scroll down to see a few highlights.

With so many rare and never-before-seen pieces, this looks to be the auction of a Disney collector’s dreams.
