It’s open. Not even a full year after Disneyland Resort announced (at San Diego Comic Con 2016) that it would be shutting the doors of its popular Twilight Zone Tower of Terror attraction and replacing it with the Marvel Cinematic Universe-inspired Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!, the new ride is ready to receive guests in Disney California Adventure‘s Hollywood Land area.

I spent two days exploring the Collector’s Fortress (formerly the Hollywood Tower Hotel) and riding the six variations of Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! multiple times, and I’m happy to report that despite many months’ worth of fan controversy, the attraction is well worth the wait and the upheaval in the Disney community. In lieu of a full written review, I’ve put together a candid video reaction complete with handy visual aids from my time in the company of Rocket Raccoon, Groot, Star-Lord, and friends.
