Hyatt Regency Grand Cyprus purchased by Xenia Hotels in $205 million acquisition of Walt Disney World-area resort

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress hotel in Orlando officially has a new owner.

The resort was purchased by Xenia Hotels for $205.5 million. The hotel will continue to be managed by Hyatt, which has run the property since it opened in 1984. Xenia Hotels also owns five other hotels that are managed by Hyatt, including Hyatt Centric Key West Resort & Spa, Hyatt Regency Santa Clara, Andaz San Diego, Andaz Savannah, and Andaz Napa.

Just a few years ago, the Hyatt Regency Grand Cyprus completed a $54 million renovation and it remains one of the top hotels in the Orlando area. The resort is close to Walt Disney World and offers six food and beverage outlets, high-end indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, a full-service spa, a 45-hole Jack Nicklaus signature golf course, and more.
