Star Wars fans, it may be time to consider investing in the House of Mouse. Today at the Disney shareholders meeting in Denver, Colorado, Disney Chairman / CEO Bob Iger surprised attendees with a look at some footage from the upcoming movie “Star Wars: The Last Jedi”.

Naturally the footage has not been released yet by Lucasfilm or Disney (and the public likely won’t get to see any of it until next month’s Star Wars Celebration in Orlando), but Los Angeles Times reporter Daniel Miller was on the scene, and unleashed a stream of tweets describing what he saw.

Fortunately other than the Luke / Rey dialogue and the X-Wing shot, this all sounds like fairly generic character and location footage. My guess is that the first actual trailer will be significantly more substantial than what is being described here. “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” will be released into theaters on Friday, December 15th.
