in Disney, Hong Kong Disneyland, Hotel, Theme Parks

Hong Kong Disneyland’s newest resort will be opening its doors to guests, beginning April 30, 2017. The new Disney Explorers Lodge will be a visual feast with four themed gardens, three restaurants, an outdoor pool that overlooks the South China Sea, and a spacious lobby.

Images of the new hotel show off its adventurer theming, clearly expressed in earthy hues and motifs that reference nature. We look forward to seeing more actual photos as the date grows closer.

The guest rooms are themed to reflect the tropical climates of Asia, Oceania, South America, and Africa. Guests will be able to choose between water views and garden views when they book.

The lodge’s motto is “to explore and dream.” This aspiration is captured best in the lobby where whimsy is lock-step with adventure throughout the decor.

World of Color Restaurant

There are three restaurants in the resort: World of Color Restaurant, Dragon Wind, and Chart Room Cafe. Between the three establishments, cuisine from five continents will be offered on the menus.
