Entertainment Designers Forum returns to Orlando for 8th year, with more insight from top theme park talent

in Disney, Entertainment, Walt Disney World

The annual Entertainment Designer Forum is just two weeks away, once again raising money for a fantastic charity while providing fans and creative hopefuls a way to meet and hear from some of the leading talent in the themed entertainment industry.

Since its debut eight years ago, the Entertainment Designer Forum has raised more than $70,000 for the American Cancer Society through ticket sales and a silent auction featuring prized theme park goodies.

The event will take place on Friday, March 3 at the Orlando Repertory Theatre and feature two panel discussions in which “design experts discuss their styles & philosophies designing theme parks.”

Attending this event is practically mandatory for theme park fans, as a fantastic way to get to know the minds behind your favorite attractions.

The 6:30pm session will feature Women in the Entertainment Industry, featuring talent from Walt Disney Imagineering, Universal Creative, Busch Gardens Tampa, Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, Orlando Fringe, and beyond: Joyce Arbucias, R.K. Little Kelly, Robbi Lepre, Lisa Enos Smith, Cindy White, and Sarah Elger.

The second panel at 9:00pm will include a Disney illustrator, directors of technology at Disney and Universal, as well as creative directors: Harc “Flounder” Hurst, Chuck Fawcett, Lon Smart, Kenn Hardy, Tom Geraghty, and T.J. Mannarino.
