LEGOLAND Florida Resort‘s newest addition opened today to the public. LEGO NINJAGO World–as the new area is called–is an entirely new land built around the popular Ninjago LEGO building sets and the LEGO NINJAGO: Masters of Spinjitzu TV Show. The themed space is complete with an exciting, interactive ride and many hands-on experiences that invite kids to #BecomeTheNinja.
The event was attended by the younger generation of Netflix Original’s “Fuller House” as well as Jodie Sweetin of “Full House” fame.
The land has a really fun vibe to it, and all of the activities in LEGO NINJAGO World center around the idea of ninja training. Check out the set up below!
Zane’s Temple Build asks kids to help build a model of a mountaintop NINJAGO monastery.
Meanwhile, Kai’s Spinners, dares them to master “Spinjitzu” on twirling platforms.
Two other challenges await aspiring ninjas.
Cole’s Rock Climb tests endurance with its outdoor climbing wall, and Jay’s Lightning Drill measures reflexes with light-up targets.
The sum total of these exercises prepare each kid for the climatic experience of LEGO NINJAGO The Ride where they face ninja villains in a martial arts battle like no other.
The headlining attraction, LEGO NINJAGO The Ride, serves as the area’s primary draw. The energetic dark-ride is combination of 3D computer animation, “4D” effects and groundbreaking technology exclusive to LEGOLAND theme parks. The experience challenges guests to score points and defeat 3D villains with ninja hand movements that activate fireballs, lightning, and other CGI elements.
After a playful dedication ceremony, assisted by the younger cast of “Fuller House” and Jodie Sweetin of “Full House,” LEGOLAND Florida welcomed all to experience the new area.
