I still keep hearing rumors about Disney buying Netflix, but i don’t think it’s a bad idea and make sense. Here’s the reason:

Disney is looking for a next CEO, before Bob Iger step down in 2018, and everyone’s thinking if Reed Hasting could be the next CEO.

Apparently Disney’s TV Business is going downhill, especially with Disney Channel having less animated series, ESPN losing subscribers, Disney XD no longer a boy-only channel, etc. but with Netflix and Reed Hasting at Disney, he sure manage to change the management and add ESPN on Netlix

Viacom did owned Blockbuster Video in 1998, before they split up in 2004.

I’d rather NOT have Reed Hastings drive Netflix into the ground the way he did with the disk-by-mail service. 🙁

And hope someone noticed that you can still stream Fantasia and Fantasia 2000, even though both are still officially currently in the Vault for disk releases.

Even if Reed Hastings became Disney’s next CEO, if Disney purchases Netflix
