Originally slated for a grand re-open in 2016, Disney Springs’ Planet Hollywood Observatory has already delayed opening their doors once. Nevertheless, it appears as if Guy Fieri‘s latest project is still struggling to get “show ready” because the restaurant has delayed it’s re-opening yet again.
The first sign of this was a cancellation of a VIP cocktail party on January 19 due to “construction and scheduling difficulties.” However, the trouble was also reflected when January 22–the expected date for the restaurant to begin serving the general public–came and went without any notice.
At this point, Planet Hollywood Observatory seems to feel they can make a January 27 deadline since they expect to start taking reservations for that day, but no guarantees of a hard and fast opening date have been made by the restaurant either.
