New Rogue One MagicBand and Nametags to hit Disney’s shelves this month

We are close enough now to the release of Rogue One that fansĀ are ready to consume theĀ latest Star Wars film in any form they possibly can. Well, Disney Parks Blog has just announced one more way for the consumption to proceed–this time in the form of new merchandise.

New Rogue One MagicBands and name tags are scheduled to hit Disney’s shelves later this month along with a few other items that will excite fans of the franchise. December 16, the movie’s release date, has been tagged as the date for the arrival of these items, so mark your calendars.

Along with a Vinylmation mystery set, a new limited edition MagicBand 2 will be released. The band features a black and white image of Director Krennic on the side of the band against a blue background. The design is rather simple in expression but still one that will appeal to Imperial enthusiasts. The band’s boxĀ is sure to appeal just as much if not more due to anĀ attractive print on the top of the lid that presents Director Krennic being flanked on either side by Death Troopers. Only 2,000 of the band will be made.rogue-merchandise2

Two jumbo-sized pins will also be available for purchase in select locations, starting December 16. A hinged death star pin will be produced in a quantity of 3,000 while it’s counterpart–a Rogue One character pin–will be a touch more rare with it’s edition size of 1,000.

And for fans who feel the need to “identify” with their favorite Star WarsĀ political party, there will be a chance to do this quite literally with some limited release identification name tags. Four new design options are being offered. The names will be printed in Aurebesh (a fictional alphabet created for the Star Wars universe) and can appear on a tag with either a Darth Vader or Imperial logo design. Annual Passholders will have two other options to choose from.

For Disneyland guests, theĀ name tags can be found at Tomorrowlanding in Disneyland park orĀ Gone Hollywood in Disney California Adventure. Disney World guests can look for them in Star Wars Launch Bay of Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Merchant of Venus in the Magic Kingdom.

So if you have been searching for the perfect items to stuffĀ stockings this season, search no further. These are the Star WarsĀ items that you have been looking for.
