Vivoli Il Gelato, located in Disney Springs, is a little gelato shop that should definitely be on your “must visit” list. The gelato shop has a history dating all the way back to 1932 in Florence, Italy and has remained a family-run business ever since. It’s a story of brothers in search of a new life, away from the farmland of their childhood. Generations later, their dream is a reality that has grown internationally.
Sylvana Vivoli is the granddaughter of Raphael Vivoli, who began this charmed business so long ago. She has continued to carry her grandfather’s legacy, and she has carried it all the way across continents to the franchise’s newest location in Orlando. She recently visited the Disney Springs site and gave us some insight into the topic she is most passionate about–gelato.
Every season, Vivoli Il Gelato offers some unique gelato flavors. This fall they are introducing Tiramisu, Apple Pie, Pecan, and Pumpkin Spice. On the menu there will also be some fall-themed sundaes.
If you are not a gelato fan, though, fear not! Vivoli Il Gelato also offers sweet treats such as cookies and pastries. These scrumptious bites come directly from Chef Vincenzo, the pastry chef at Tutto Italia of the Italy Pavilion in Epcot.
Regardless of your particular persuasions for the changing seasons, your sweet tooth will be satisfied at Vivoli Il Gelato. Have you visited Vivoli Il Gelato at Disney Springs? If so, what was your favorite flavor?
