With just a little over a month to go before the release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Lucasfilm and Walt Disney Studios have unveiled an explosive new TV spot.
The short clip mixes a few new brief glimpses of the highly-anticipated film but mostly recycles footage from the trailers but hey, we’ll take what we can get at this point.
Additionally, Lucasfilm has also released two new banners to promote the first stand-alone Star Wars movie.
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Riz Ahmed, with Jiang Wen and Forest Whitaker. Kathleen Kennedy, Allison Shearmur and Simon Emanuel are producing, with John Knoll and Jason McGatlin serving as executive producers. The story is by John Knoll and Gary Whitta, and the screenplay is by Chris Weitz and Tony Gilroy.
“Rogue One: A Star Wars Story” is in theaters December 16 in 3D, RealD 3D and IMAX 3D.
