Its release is still a few months away, but the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast is already thrilling fans with every single peek at the film that gets tossed to the public. Well, here is another.

Luke Evans, who stars as Gaston in the movie, shared an image from Empire Magazine where he and Emma Watson (Belle) have an awkward exchange. Fans will recall Gaston’s attempt to win Belle over with his good looks and charm while Belle finds his advances repulsive and creepy. The image that Evans tweeted with the text, “Smooth Gaston! Very smooth,” gives us a look at one of those scenes from the upcoming movie.

Beauty and the Beast is scheduled to hit theaters on March 17, 2017 with a stellar cast. We’ve already mentioned Evans and Watson, but names like Kevin Kline (Maurice), Josh Gad (LeFou), Ewan McGregor (Lumiere), Ian McKellen (Cogsworth),  and Emma Thompson (Mrs. Potts) join these two on the screen. With a beloved tale like this, the incredible ensemble of actors, and a soundtrack that has proven itself throughout the decades, we’d say Disney is guaranteed a box office hit here.

Disney seems to think so too because they have plans to continue building a library of live-action films based on their animated classics. Cruella, based on Disney’s 101 Dalmatians, is next on the docket. It’s to be followed by a sequel to Maleficent, a sequel to The Jungle Book, and remakes of Peter Pan, Mulan, and Winnie the Pooh’s tale which will be called Christopher Robin.

It’s MalEficent, not Malificent. A kick to the face of every face. Get it right!

We’ve fixed the writer’s typo, thanks for pointing that out.

I hope Emma’s feminist stance is mirrored in the other live action movie’s

I have a 16 year old daughter and a 7 year old god daughter who are already asking me if it will be an IMAX release or not (making them see Star Wars on IMAX has backfired on me bigtime)
