VIDEO: Disney fan crafts elaborate surprise proposal at Disneyland

in Disney, Disneyland

Kinda Funny - Youtube

Disney fan Curran Wong knew he had to go all out when he decided to propose to his longtime girlfriend Shari Hakim. In doing so he’s set the bar pretty high for everyone else, because it’s clear that a LOT of time went into planning this in the heart of Disneyland and executing it to perfection.

It all started eight years ago when Wong also crafted an incredible recreation of “Aladdin” right in their neighborhood complete with dancers and he serenaded her with a “A Whole New World” during a magic flying carpet ride (on top of a car). It was clear to him that to take the next step in their relationship he was going to have to bring his “A” game once again, complete with a fake video shoot to get her to visit Disneyland with his best friend Tim Gettys and the surprise arrival of family and friends before Wong makes his grand appearance to personally deliver his proposal to his loving girlfriend.

See for yourself and make sure you have a box of tissues handy, just saying!

All together now, awwwww. ITM would like to congratulate the happy couple and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for the actual wedding. And yes, it will be a Disney-themed wedding at Disneyland.

Nicely done, but kind of anti-climatic to get married if your already living together. Call me old school, but I think you should get married, BEFORE you live together.

Extremely old fashioned. Nobody should get engaged until they have lived together and experienced normal everyday life with each other. Dating and living together are two completely different things and you need to see whether you are still compatible when things aren’t all roses.
