It’s refreshing to see horror written for children, amid the Halloween season and all the recent hype over the season premiere of The Walking Dead (several parents groups complaining that it was too graphic).

This particular horror is by the master himself, Stephen King (under the pseudonym of Beryl Evans).  Yes worrisome parents, this IS a children’s book; a very special children’s book.  Charlie the Choo Choo is the book that Dark Tower character Jake Chambers purchases when he visits the Manhattan Restaurant for the Mind.
