Doctor Strange, himself, is set to meet guests at Los Angeles’ El Capitan Theatre during the opening weekend of his film November 4-6.

The film will make its debut in the theater on Thursday, November 3 at 7pm where raffle prizes and other surprises are expected to be a part of the festivities. However, for those that are unable to make that first showing, tickets are now on sale for showings November 4-20. They can be purchased online or by calling 1-800-DISNEY6. Daily showtimes are 12pm, 3:30pm, 7pm and 10:30pm, but those showtimes and dates are subject to change.

General Manager of El Capitan Theatre, Ed Collins, elaborated some about the film’s upcoming arrival:

The El Capitan Theatre is the one best choices [sic] in Los Angeles to watch Marvel Studios’ “Doctor Strange” on opening weekend. Our exclusive character Meet ‘n Greet and photo opportunity with Doctor Strange before and after each show, the brilliant image and immersive sound of our studio engineered Dolby® 3D laser projection and Dolby Atmos® sound system, all reserved seating, and attractive pricing make for a memorable movie going experience unmatched by any movie theatre around.

For those interested in “dinner and a movie,” El Capitan Theatre has made arrangements with Hard Rock Café to provide this type of experience. For $30, guests can make reservations for both establishments during the entire engagement of Doctor Strange at the theatre by calling 1-818-845-3110.

Additionally, El Capitan Theatre will be running a Tiny Tot Tuesday version of the film for parents who would like to watch the film with their children in a “tot-friendly way.” This type of screening includes viewing in 2D, dimmed lights (rather than darkness) and reduced sound levels. This experience is scheduled for November 8 and 15 at noon.
