Disneyland dining options for Thanksgiving Day, November 24

You may not think it, but peak season for Disney Parks actually begins the week of Thanksgiving. These days it is common for families to forgo the traditional meal at home, pack up for vacation and enjoy their dinner in Disney Parks. For that reason Disney Parks Blog recently published a list of their dining locations that feature a holiday meal so that you could tailor your experience to your tastes. Here is what they presented:

At Disneyland Hotel

  • The Disneyland Hotel Grand Ballroom: 12pm-6pm; buffet (carved roast turkey breast, prime rib, homemade stuffing, sweet potato soufflé, fresh cranberry-orange relish, smashed potatoes and gravy, salads, artisan cheeses, smoked salmon cured meats, chilled poached shrimp, king crab legs, pumpkin and pecan pies, tarts, cookies, mousses, freshly made crepes, chocolate fountain with sweets)
  • Goofy’s Kitchen: brunch and dinner; buffet with added seasonal items (turkey, herb stuffing, mashed potatoes, turkey giblet gravy, sweet potatoes with marshmallow, seasonal desserts)
  • Steakhouse 55: dinner; three-courses (butternut squash soup crispy or shredded skirt steak with maple clabbered cream, roasted turkey Wellington with brioche stuffing, cranberry compote, Swiss chard and wild mushroom gravy, sweet potato s’mores with sweet potato cheesecake and salted caramel marshmallow with dark chocolate sauce)

At Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa

  • Storytellers Café: lunch and dinner; buffet with added seasonal items (mixed fall greens, pasta salad with brussel sprouts and butternut squash, roasted turkey with turkey gravy and cranberry sauce, candied yams with toasted marshmallows, sourdough bread stuffing with mushrooms and fresh herbs, sweet potato bread pudding, pumpkin and pecan pies)
  • Napa Rose: dinner; four-courses with wine pairing option (Wine Country Feast with seasonal menu)

At Paradise Pier Hotel

  • PCH Grill: buffet with added seasonal items (pumpkin ravioli, oven-roasted turkey with cranberry relish and brown gravy, sausage and herb stuffing, green beans with caramelized shallots, pumpkin pie with spiced crème fraiche)

At Disneyland Park

  • Carnation Café: lunch and dinner; seasonal items on the menu (turkey, gravy, stuffing, pumpkin pie)
  • Plaza Inn: lunch and dinner; seasonal items on the menu (turkey, gravy, apple thyme dressing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, dinner rolls, pumpkin pie)
  • River Belle Terrace: lunch and dinner; seasonal items on the menu (oven-roasted turkey breast, bourbon gravy, cornbread stuffing, pumpkin pie)
  • French Market Restaurant: lunch and dinner; seasonal items on the menu (slow-roasted turkey breast, cornbread and apricot stuffing, smashed potatoes, home-style gravy, vegetables, bread, cranberry relish, pumpkin pie)
  • Blue Bayou Restaurant: lunch and dinner; seasonal items on the menu (slow-roasted turkey roulade with truffle stuffing, roasted garlic Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, cognac turkey gravy, cranberry relish, pumpkin crème brulée)
  • Café Orleans: lunch and dinner; seasonal items on the menu (slow-roasted turkey with cornbread and apricot stuffing, garlic mashed potatoes, vegetables, home-style gravy, cranberry relish, pumpkin pie and candy cane beignets served with a crème Anglaise)
  • Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante: lunch and dinner; seasonal items on menu (seasonal tamales served with enchiladas)

At Disney California Adventure Park

  • Mortimer’s Market, Pacific Wharf Café and Boudin Bread Cart: seasonal items available (turkey-shaped sourdough bread)
  • Don Tomas: seasonal items available (pumpkin twist)
  • Carthay Circle Restaurant: lunch and dinner; seasonal items on menu (grilled free-range turkey, harvest butternut squash tamale, creamed corn and turkey jus)/ “World of Color” viewing package additions (soup or salad and crunchy butterscotch pie)
  • Wine Country Trattoria: lunch and dinner; seasonal items on menu (herb-roasted turkey with Yukon mashed potatoes, herb focaccia stuffing, haricot vert, orange-cranberry relish, pumpkin pie)
  • Pacific Wharf Café: seasonal items available on menu (turkey pot pie soup in a bread bowl, pumpkin spice bread pudding made with sourdough)
  • Flo’s V-8 Café: seasonal items available on menu (rotisserie-roasted turkey with mashed potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, orange-cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie with a “Day After Thanksgiving” sandwich on November 25)
  • Ariel’s Grotto: lunch and dinner; seasonal items available on menu (slow-roasted turkey with gravy, apple stuffing, orange-cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, vegetables)
