I can’t think of a more suitable place to celebrate National Chocolate Day this year than at the shiny new Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen at Universal Orlando Citywalk.
If you’ve seen (or better yet tasted) the delectable creations that have been whipped up there since opening earlier this year then it should come as no surprise that the specialized artisans there are looking to “shake things up” this Friday according to Universal Orlando Resort.
For starters, they’ve come up with a commemorative National Chocolate Day-exclusive Jacques’ Chocolate Day Special milkshake. This limited-time shake is made up of “white chocolate ice cream, Dutch chocolate ice cream, whipped cream swirl and topped with a freshly baked black and white cookie and steampunk gear garnish” and will only be available at The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium on National Chocolate Day tomorrow, October 28.
As if that wasn’t enough, Toothsome will host the world’s only chocolate speed sculptor, Paul Joachim (also known as The Chocolate Genius). From his expert hands, he’ll be creating four custom Universal sculptures made entirely out of chocolate including a massive, 100-pound recreation of The Toothsome Chocolate Emporium. Guests can see The Chocolate Genius sculpt live from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first floor of the restaurant.
Here’s a little taste of what’s to come all day tomorrow.
If you’re like me and you like to celebrate chocolate on a daily basis, I’d highly recommend stopping by the Toothsome Chocolate Emporium this Friday to take part in the festivities.
