Harry Potter fans will rejoice to hear that the complete Harry Potter movie series will be returning to IMAX theaters for one week only beginning Thursday, October 13. This is the first time all the movies return to theaters since 2011 and also the first time ‘Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone‘ and ‘Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets‘ are getting the IMAX treatment.

This Potter movie event is made to hype audiences up for the upcoming ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’ that is coming to theaters in November and Fantastic Beasts promos will be shown at each Potter screening.

Greg Foster, CEO of IMAX Entertainment, had this to say about the exciting movie event: “Harry Potter is one of the most beloved film franchises of all time and is incredibly important to the history of IMAX. Therefore, being able to offer each installment — especially the initial two for the very first time in IMAX — makes this a truly magical event for fans.”

According to the press release tickets will be available by means of four separate admission packages: Single Ticket; Day Access (admittance to three or more shows in a single day); Four-Show Access (admittance to four shows any time, any day); and Festival Access (unlimited admittance throughout the event). Packages offered and pricing may vary by theatre.

You can purchase tickets at IMAX.com/HarryPotter.
