If there’s one important thing that parents have been wanting to know over the last few months, it’s whether their children will be safe staying at a Walt Disney World resort with the recent alligator attack of a small child in the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Controversies and opinions have been flying around, and heated debates had extended all throughout our common threads. So we took it upon ourselves to check out the all new fencing that has been placed around the outside of the lake at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort.

So what’s the verdict? Will these fences do anything to keep the alligators at bay and your children on the safe side Western Mark the answer is yes. The ropes are heavily reinforced, the signage can’t be missed, and coquina rocks line the outside of the lake on the other side of the fences just to make extra sure that nothing gets through. Disney has clearly made all of the necessary precautions to ensure that an incident like before will never happen again.

Seems like maybe these are more for keeping people away from the water than keeping gators away from people. I’m OK with that, though.

“anti-gator fences at Walt Disney World” You only showed one fence, not fences.

I’m tired of hearing anyting about Walt Disney World. A child has been lost, and all you hear about ,from them is their promotions. They need to shut down completely out of respect.

Ok no. Death like that is tragic but not business crushing. You need to remember that the world is still spinning and life goes on. Should every company with deaths on their lands shut down we will end up with nothing. Disney has done right. The animals may still exist while it’s overtly clear that you shouldn’t go swimming.
