In a surprising twist of events the popular Disneyland Resort Southern California Annual Passport is back! The Disney Parks Blog broke the news this week that the pass that was discontinued two years ago will now be made available again but for an additional $100 compared to the previous price.

Southern California Annual Passport provides admission to both theme parks on most weekdays and select Sundays and will be available for purchase at Disneyland Resort box offices today and will be available online at Disneyland.com at a later date. The new pass will cost you $459 and those block out days such as Saturdays.

Most likely Disneyland is re-introducing this more affordable annual pass option to try and tempt more people into its park next year when many tourists may defer to go in favor of waiting for the new Star Wars Land to debut.

The Southern California Annual Passport is valid only for Southern California residents living in ZIP codes 90000 to 93599.

Monthly Payments option valid only for California residents who are at least 18 years old and living in ZIP codes 90000-96199 with valid ID. A one-time payment on the date of a new Passport purchase equal to the price of a 1-day, 1-park adult ticket is required. Passports subject to the Annual Passport Terms and Conditions including, but not limited to, Blockout Dates and capacity constraints. Passport types are limited in quantity, and not all Passport types may be available at any given time. Subject to other restrictions, including a retail installment agreement, and change without notice.
