Between all the visual reveals like Cogsworth and Lumiere, as well a concept art for some of our favorite characters and a teaser trailer, it seems like the world is abuzz with updates from the set of Disney’s live action Beauty and the Beast remake!

One such person rooting for the success of the movie is legendary composer, Alan Menken, who not only wrote the original Beauty and the Beast score, but is contributing to the new film as well. Entertainment Weekly reports that his praise for Emma Watson’s portrayal of Belle is through the roof:

“She’s really good! I can’t picture anyone else, honestly. She’s Belle for me now entirely.”

His praises for the people at work on the new sure-to-be blockbuster also extends to director Bill Condon, who’s fresh vision will surely breathe new life into this classic tale:

“It’s exciting. For me because I’m writing the new songs and scoring the new movie, it’s a lot of work,” he laughed. “It’s interesting and it’s challenging to come back to the same source material three times. And in this case I’m really taking my lead – I am bearer of the flame to a degree, but I want to be as good a team member with Bill Condon as I can be. So I’m really taking my lead from him as a director, and he’s doing a great job.”

Beauty and the Beast hits theaters on March 17, 2017. In the meantime, stick with Inside the Magic for all things fun and awesome!
