Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza, which just opened this past weekend, is a game changer for Disney Springs. This counter service restaurant can definitely be put in the affordable category and is exactly what Disney Springs needs. I gather to say that this is the first budget-friendly restaurant option in the new area Town Center at Disney Springs.

Blaze Fast Fire’d Pizza is all about the ‘build your own’ customizable pizza with more than 40 different toppings to choose from. The restaurant also prides themselves on delivering individual pizzas cooked in an open-hearth oven in just about 3 minutes. On the menu, you can find both Build Your Own and Signature Pizzas that are all priced around the $10 mark.

The best deal is build your own pizza option that will cost you $9.65. But that also includes as many toppings as you wish, do all 40 if you want!

Blaze also serves gluten free options with extra attention spent on the cooking process like using a teflon mat and changing gloves. Plenty of vegan options are also available.

When ordering a build your own pizza, you move down the line picking toppings on display and then pay for your creation at the end. Side salads, desserts, beer & wine and other drinks are also available.

Including serving a regular soda selection, Blaze also offers four lemonade flavors. I highly recommend trying the Blood Orange Lemonade which was incredibly refreshing.

The seating is pretty basic, consisting mainly of long tables and benches and some booths. A nice patio area is also available for those less than scorching summer days.

So what about the pizza itself? Frankly, it was delicious. It is a thin crust pizza so if that isn’t your style you will be disappointed, but it’s all about the toppings at this place. Whether you want to try something more exotic like goat cheese or regular pepperoni they make sure to not skimp on heaping it on your pizza. And for the price you really can’t go wrong. I will definitely make it back to Blaze.

I have been a fan of Blaze since they opened one near where I attended school. I have seen the price go up from $6.95 and I think the restaurant found their happy spot. The locations outside of Disney World are about $1 cheaper for the build your own so it is not a bad increase for being at Disney Springs. I am in hopes that one can be added to Downtown Disney.
