“The story of Frozen is one of the most iconic animated movies ever, so this is a unique and special opportunity to retell the story onboard the Disney Wonder, transporting guests right into the world of Arendelle,” Kevin Eld, creative portfolio executive, Walt Disney Imagineering told D23.com.

Tony® Award-nominated director Sheryl Kaller (Next Fall, Mothers and Sons) headlines a talented group including costume designer Paloma Young (Peter and the Starcatcher), choreographer Josh Prince (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical), scenic designer Jason Sherwood (Paint Your Wagon), and writer Sara Wordsworth (In Transit). According to D23, four-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin (Aladdin, The Wedding Singer, Elf, Gotta Dance) will be in charge of adapting the incredibly popular music and lyrics originally created by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez for the original hit movie. The new show will also feature music direction by Marco Paguia and puppeteer Michael Curry (The Lion King on Broadway) will help bring Sven and Olaf come to life.
