It looks like plans are coming together swiftly for a new dining pavilion at Disney’s Fort Wilderness at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Orlando Business Journal reports that Walt Disney Parks & Resorts is seeking a permit from the South Florida Water Management District for a project that involves more than 3.65 acres of infrastructure “to serve a new dining pavilion building and associated pargo (golf cart) parking at Fort Wilderness,” documents showed. This is great news, as significant changes haven’t really come to the camp site in a while!
It has been reported that the new dining pavilion will be located near Bay Lake and Fort Wilderness’ Settlement Trading Post. A perfect location for families to get together and dine amidst the wonderful natural setting smack-dab in the middle of the Walt Disney World Resort.
No clear timeline has been given, but there’s no doubt Disney should have this new area up and running relatively soon. For all things Walt Disney World, stick with Inside the Magic!
