VIDEO: SeaWorld Orlando’s Summer Soak Party is the perfect way to beat the heat!

in Park Secrets, ParkSpotting, SeaWorld Orlando, Theme Parks

Sometimes it’s really hard to beat the summer heat in Orlando, Florida. Maybe we can throw ourselves in a pool, sip on an icy beverage, but nothing quite seems to get a job done all the way. Lucky for us, SeaWorld Orlando has unleashed a massive tented area filled with sprinklers, waterfalls, water cannons, and everything you need to help relive the days when a slip-n-slide in your backyard was the greatest thing in the entire world.

SeaWorld Orlando’s Summer Soak Party is a simple kind of awesome. It’s not a new ride or a new show — it’s simply an area for guests and their children to cool off, get drenched, and dance around with some colorful characters. Dancers and DJs keep the party pumping, there are a handful of adorable, water oriented party games for the kids to play, and you just never know what sprinkler will go off next. Again, it’s a simple kind of awesome, but sometimes that’s exactly what we need out of our summer vacation.

The Summer Soak Party takes place at Bayside Stadium from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily now through August 14, and select days through September 5. if you want to stick to some of the more dry aspects of the park, like the killer new roller coaster Mako, you might want to steer clear of this area entirely. You will get wet. Very very wet.

So, what used to be in Bayside Stadium that they put the new floor and replacement dance party into?–Shamu, or the seal show?
Either way, all I see is them dancing on top of it…
