Today a new retail experience is opening its doors in the Town Center section of Disney Springs. Uniqlo is a leader in Japan’s retail industry and has now for the first time opened a location in Orlando. The two-level, 25,000-square-foot space features everything from the company’s line of “LifeWear” activewear featuring lightweight linen and simple design, to collaborations with the Disney brand. Uniqlo is also really popular because their price points is definitely in the affordable category with most clothing and accessory options being in the $20-$50 range.
According to Uniqlo Chief Managing Officer Justin Kerr: “This location is considered a concept store in that there are things here that are unique to our brand. There are lots of exclusive items and events that will be a regular part of store operations — we’ll consider every day to be opening day.”
The Uniqlo store in Disney Springs also features some store exclusives like a range of Disney character patches that can be sewn to garments while shoppers wait.
The Disney Springs store is also big on interactive activities that include calligraphy demonstrations and origami classes. Opening day guests also will have the chance to spin a prize wheel for clothing items and a trip to Tokyo.
