Head’s up, Pokemon fans! In some leaked footage that hit the Internet overnight, it looks like seven new Pokemon were revealed from the upcoming Pokemon Sun and Moon video game. Nintendo eventually confirmed that the footage is 100% real and then released an official Japanese trailer this morning.
Check it out below:
Here are the new Pokemon (thanks to ComicBook.com):
Tapukoko: an Electric/Fairy type that resembles a Tiki statue/Pacific Islander warrior. Tapukoko has two protective shields that it can wrap around its entire body.
Charjabug: a Bug/Electric type bug that resembles a box-y grub. Charjabug could be the evolution of Grubbin.
Vikavolt: a Bug/Electric type and the evolution of Charjabug. Vikavolt resembles an electric stag beetle.
Drampa: a Normal/Dragon type. Drampa looks like a Pokemon version of Valoo from The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker.
Bruxish: a Water/Psychic fish with extremely sharp teeth. Bruxish is based on the triggerfish, a fish often found in tropical waters.
Cutiefly: a small Bug/Fairy type bug that looks like a mix between a gnat and a hummingbird. Cutiefly appears to be based on the bee fly.
Togedemaru: an Electric/Steel type Pokemon that looks like a hedgehog. Togedemaru may be the Alola’s region Electric-type rodent. Togedemaru has several spikes on its body that can be raised or lowered at will.
