New changes coming to Walt Disney World’s Dining Plan for 2017

in Disney, Food, Theme Parks, Walt Disney World

For guests visiting the Walt Disney World Resort the Disney Dining Plan is a popular package option add-on. The plan has gone through plenty of changes throughout the years and for 2017 we will see some new changes again.

According to the website KennythePirate the biggest change affecting guests on the Disney Dining Plan will be the removal of a dessert in the Quick Service Meal and addition of an extra snack to all three levels of the plan.

In 2016 the Quick Service Meal included:
*1 entree
*1 non-alcoholic drink
*1 dessert

The 2017 Quick Service Meal will instead include:
*1 entree
*1 non-alcoholic drink

To compensate for this change in the Quick Service Meal the Disney Dining Plan 2017 will now include per night of stay 2 snacks instead of the previous just 1 snack per night of stay.

So when you book, for example, the Disney Dining Plan for 2017 you will receive per night of stay:
*1 Quick Service Meal
*1 Table Service Meal (will still include 1 dessert)
*2 Snacks

2017 Walt Disney World packages are available for booking Tuesday, June 21
