Finally, some answers!

Now, it’s common knowledge that Mads Mikkelsen was cast in Doctor Strange months ago, we haven’t really had any revealing info on who (or what) this new character might be. It looks like an answer finally came — from the most unlikely of places. It looks like the folks over at Heroic Hollywood got the inside scoop on a toy being released with the film.

The toy’s description reveals that Mikkelsen is playing Kaecilius, an agent of Baron Mordo. Now, Mordo isn’t an actual villain to Strange in the series yet, and details are scarce on how involved the character will be, but at least we have a glaring question answered!

Here’s the description:

Marvel Minimates Series 70 Doctor Strange Movie 2-Pack Asst.

A Diamond Select Toys Release! The next chapter of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is now the next entry in the long-running Marvel Minimates line! Series 70 of Marvel Minimates mini-figures travels to the world of the Doctor Strange movie, with four different two-packs: Dr. Strange with The Ancient One, Mordo with Kaecilius, the specialty-exclusive Stephen Strange with Christine Palmer and the specialty-exclusive Wong & Zealot! Each 2-inch Minimates mini-figure features 14 points of articulation and fully interchangeable parts. Each two-pack is packaged in a full-color window box.

It’s also worth noting that Rachel McAdams will be playing Night Nurse, as revealed in the description as well. Fantastic! I’m sure plenty of us saw that coming. The character serves as a healer for many heroes of the Marvel universe and, eventually, becomes a love interest for Doctor Strange. It’ll be great to see her brought to the forefront — what a time to be alive!

Doctor Strange hits theaters on November 4th, 2016!
