REVIEW: Tutto Italia’s new prix fixe lunch menu is a great taste of Italy at Epcot

in Disney, Theme Parks, Walt Disney World

A new option this summer for Epcot visitors is the Italy Pavilion’s Tutto Italia Ristorante new prix fixe lunch menu. Tutto Italia Ristorante is a great traditional table service restaurant right in the middle of the Italy Pavilion that serves some fantastic classic Italian cuisine.

Tutto Italia is a bit pricey though, but with the new prix fixe lunch menu, that will be offered for a limited time May 3 through August 31, you can get a great sampling of the restaurant’s offering for a great price.

The new prix fixe lunch menu is a three-course meal and includes your choice of soft drink or iced tea for the price of $27 plus tax. You may choose from a list of several options for appetizer, entree, and dessert. There are some really yummy options on this list and I was fortunate enough to get to visit and try some of them! Lets start with a look at the appetizer options.

Appetizer:

Antipasto (sopressata, finocchiona, roasted peppers, ovolini mozzarella)
Insalata Mista (endive, arugula, radicchio, white asparagus, radish, balsamic vinaigrette)
Caprese (fior di latte mozzarella, tomato, basil, extra virgin olive oil)
Minestrone (spring vegetables, pancetta, pastina)

At my table we tried the Caprese appetizer and Minestrone soup. The Caprese came with wonderful fresh tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, but the star was definitely the Minestrone soup that was a generous serving of flavorful pasta and pancetta. Extra sprinkling of Parmesan on top was great too. Italian bread and olives are also served with your meal.

Entree:

Scaloppine di Pollo (chicken scaloppini, cremini mushrooms, marsala sauce)
Filetto di Sogliola (parmesan encrusted filet of sole, spring mix salad, citrus vinaigrette)
Caesar Salad (romaine wedge, chicken, olive crostini, shaved parmesan)
Spaghetti (beef and veal meatballs, pomodoro sauce)

For the entrees we picked the Chicken Scaloppini and Spaghetti. Even though both options were very good the spaghetti definitely was the better entree as the chicken scaloppini felt a little lonesome without a side of pasta.

Dessert:

Cannolo
Tiramisu
Gelati (chocolate, vanilla, stracciatella)

Cannolo and Tiramisu was our dessert picks and they were amazing! Presentation is everything and Tutto Italia definitely pulls this off well. Both dessert portions were huge and we definitely had a hard time finishing, but we somehow found the strength to manage. Delicious!

Having had the pleasure to dine at Tutto Italia a couple of times in the past, I would definitely recommend this new lunch option as it gives you a great deal and a chance to taste a little bit of everything. The price is a great value, especially for guests who are not on the dining plan. An added bonus is the wonderful Italian bread and olives that are also included in your meal.

Even if this $27 prix fixe option wasn’t available, Tutto Italia is a great choice for amazing Italian cuisine in a wonderful themed environment. It’s definitely one of my favorite restaurants in World Showcase at Epcot.
