Walt Disney World now offers preferred parking for guests willing to throw down cash

Ever wanted princess parking? Well now you can get it! Sort of.

Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Walt Disney World has started testing a program where guests can pay a little bit more for parking for a spot much closer to the entrance gates. For an additional $15, guests on their way to the Magic Kingdom and Epcot will have a chance to get a little closer than the rest of the herd — parking at Walt Disney World is already $20 across the board. Who needs exercise anyway?

Guests opting for the preferred parking must still go through the Ticket & Transportation Center and will have to partake in the monorail or ferry (poor babies), but it may be worth it to some. Those who are staying at resort hotels or are Annual Passholders also have the opportunity to drop $15 for baller-parking. This preferred parking test is not available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Animal Kingdom, so I guess those guys will have to hoof it old-school style.

What do you think of this idea? Are you down for this optional price increase, or do you think everybody should trudge it with the rest of the plebeians? Sound off in the comments!
