Welcome back to another edition of Disney Tidbits! Today we are going to check in on the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World that is currently in the middle of spring break crowds and Easter treats.
The train station Mickey has received some new colorful spring flowers.
Easter is just a couple of days away and the Main Street Confectionery is stocked up with all the Easter treats you could want.
At the same time the Disney gallery is showcasing some new Disney Christmas medium statues.
A new classic Mickey Mouse Dooney and Bourke collection has showed up in stores.
Taking a break on the beautiful new hub grass is something you should try and enjoy when visiting Magic Kingdom.
The spring Trolley Show was in full swing.
Look at all that space in front of the castle!
We took a left and headed over to Frontierland to check on the rumor that the special waffle fries, like BLT fries, are gone from Golden Oak Outpost. Unfortunately the rumor was true. Just regular chicken nuggets now.
Inside the Frontierland Pin Trading store we spotted a new Easter pin featuring Chip and Dale.
We then saw cowboys Chip ‘n’Â Dale out doing their regular meet and greet.
With the spring break crowds starting to take over the parks finding a place to eat is not easy. Disney tries to help guests out by opening some temporary dining locations such as The Diamond Horseshoe. The menu wasn’t too exciting but it’s a good alternative if you can’t find anything.
As you can see here, Columbia Harbour House had a line all the way out the door.
The Haunted Mansion was sporting a 45 minute wait.
The It’s a Small World ride was only a 25 minute wait even though they recently added a new interactive ending. Check out video of it HERE.
The crane is still making its appearance behind the castle.
Inside Castle Couture, we saw two new Mickey Mouse ears featuring Belle and Aurora. They have been flying off the shelves according to cast members.
Frozen fever may be over as the other Disney Princesses now have a longer wait time than the Frozen sisters at Fairytale Hall. They may only be leading with 5 minutes but we still took it as a sign.
Suzy from Cinderella was out meeting at the New Fantasyland castle wall. This is a popular location for some random character appearances.
Walking into Storybook Circus we could not help to see the horribly faded banners at its entrance. Not a good show on Disney’s part.
Inside Big Top souvenirs we spotted more Easter treats.
The castle walkway construction is starting to move at a snail’s pace and looks like it should be open already.
Walking thru the Emporium we saw that they got these Mickey Mouse award statues in stock.
On our way out we finally sighted the new celebrations buttons. You can see more of them HERE.
That’s it for this edition of Disney Tidbits! Come back soon for more trips around the world!
