Parking will become a lot easier at Universal Orlando when the new water park, Volcano Bay, arrives in 2017.

The theme park plans on building a new bus/tram roadway system from its existing parking garages. According to permits filed with South Florida Water Management District, this roadway system will run parallel to I-4 and end just south of the future Sapphire Fall Resort, that will sit on the southeast corner of Adventure Way and Hollywood Way. These plans also include a pedestrian tunnel that guests can take from the drop-off point to the water park entrance.

Orlando Business Journal reported that the permits identify the project as “Project 533” which is the code name for the water park.
