No surprise here, but Star Wars: The Force Awakens has become the highest-grossing Disney film of all time. On Christmas weekend alone, the film made $28.1 million domestically and $36.7 million internationally, totaling $64.8 million globally. This adds up to almost $630 million alone in the U.S., beating 2012’s Avengers ($623.4 million) for the top spot among Disney films.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens was the #2 movie of 2015 and the #4 movie of all time after just two weeks in movie theaters.

During the opening weekend, Star Wars:The Force Awakens beat Jurassic World (which earned $524.9 million) for the biggest global debut in history, making $529 million in its first weekend worldwide. The film is currently about $215 million away from surpassing Avatar as the biggest domestic movie ever.
